Our Staff

Tryna is currently on a maternity leave and will return in early spring of 2017 to treat her current clients. Element Physio currently has two full time physiotherapists. Kylie’s caseload is primarily orthopedic patients – muscle, joint, and nerve pain as well as injuries, post surgery, and chronic conditions. Carly also treats orthopaedic injuries and Women’s Health Physiotherapy. She has recently expanded her practice to offer physiotherapy for people with or that have survived Breast Cancer and is awaiting the official completion of her Pelvic Health Physiotherapy Certification.

Tryna DeGagne

Tryna graduated in 2008 with a 3 year Bachelor of Science from Brandon University, and in 2011 with a bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation in Physical Therapy from the University of Manitoba.  A born and raised Brandonite, she happily returned to the community where she has since worked in a combination of hospital and private practice settings.  Upon opening the clinic in 2014 with her husband Matt, she found her niche in the realm of orthopaedics and pelvic health physiotherapy. She has a special interest in Women’s Health Physiotherapy (pelvic floor, prenatal and postpartum therapy, and pelvic/hip/low-back pain).

In her spare time Tryna enjoys running with her husband, yoga, weight training, biking, and good food. Physical activity is an important part of her life, helping balance the mind, body and soul. On weekends she is often found sitting in the sun with a snack and a great book. Tryna and Matt are patiently awaiting the arrival of their baby in late November 2017.

Lindsay MacKeen graduated from physiotherapy in 2005 at the University of Ottawa. Since that time she has been working in private and military orthopedic settings. To further her skills as a physiotherapist, she has completed her level 3s in manual therapy, is certified in acupuncture and has completed dry needling training to name a few. Lindsay has experience in treating all ages and fitness levels and has the keen ability to adapt her treatment as such.

Lindsay believes in an active approach to her treatments to get her patients back to doing whatever it is they want to be doing whether that’s CrossFit or cross-stitch. Outside of the clinic, Lindsay is a hockey mom to two young boys, an avid fitness enthusiast and proud military spouse.

Carly McLeod

Carly graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Science General in 2015, and a Master of Physical Therapy in 2017. A farm girl who grew up outside of Mather, Manitoba, Carly is excited to be returning to western Manitoba. From an active family, Carly originally became interested in physiotherapy after several sports injuries her and her brother required physiotherapy for in their teens. After completing student placements at CancerCare Manitoba and Element Physiotherapy, Carly developed a special interest in cancer rehabilitation and woman’s health physiotherapy.

When not studying for her upcoming National Physiotherapy Competency Exam she likes to camp, hike, travel, and finding adventure wherever she is. She is currently attempting to overcome a fear of heights and learn to snowboard. Carly can often be found curled up with a good book in the sun, quilting, or trying to bake something new.

Carly is very excited to begin her career at Element Physiotherapy and looks forward to meeting you in the clinic and community!
